Visiting Juilliard
Thank you for your interest in The Juilliard School. For many prospective students, visiting a school allows the chance to observe, ask questions, and experience the atmosphere and environment that makes each school unique. More importantly, a school visit solidifies for many their choice of post secondary education. For that reason, Juilliard encourages and welcomes prospective students and their families to visit us and take a tour.
*While we welcome prospective students and their families to visit when they are able, tours during the summer are extremely limited and often times do not offer our guests the truest sense of the institution.
During the summer months, tours of The Juilliard School take visitors around the facilities, are given Monday - Thursday at noon and last approximately 45 minutes. Our tour guides are current students who are trained and equipped to answer questions from a student's perspective as well as share with you their personal experiences as Juilliard students. Guests on the tour will be shown classroom, practice and performance spaces.
The Juilliard School is currently undergoing extensive renovations, affecting tour availability. To ensure that your initial visit to The Juilliard School is enjoyable, it is necessary to limit space on our tours to 15. Summer Group Tours
Please be advised that due to ongoning construction, limited tour guide availability, and building access, tours of the School for groups of 10 or more are considered on a case by case basis. The Office of Admissions may be able to arrange a student lead private group tour. The The Special Group Tour link below outlines tour guidelines and procedures. As mentioned above, facility construction greatly limits our ability to meet every request.

Important Reminders
Because of the current renovation of The Juilliard School and Alice Tully Hall, the escalators and public stairs at the corner of Broadway and West 65th Street are permanently closed. The Juilliard School main entrance is now located on West 66th Street between Amsterdam and Broadway. To receive the latest information regarding Juilliard's renovation, please visit Juilliard's "Construction Update" Web site listed below.
