Information Programs
These events include a one hour presentation from an Admissions Counselor followed by a campus tour that will take 60-90 minutes.
During the summer of 2012, the events will be offered from July 9 through August 17 at 10:00 a.m. Monday and Wednesday and at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. The Friday events will also include complimentary ice cream at the conclusion of the program!
During the academic year (mid-September through early May), these events are offered at 10:00 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday as well as 1:00 p.m. on select Fridays and Saturdays.
Open Houses (spring, summer & fall)
Oswego offers one Open House program during the spring and summer, as well as three during the fall semester- your best opportunity to get an in-depth overview of SUNY Oswego's offerings. Space is limited, so please be sure to register early!
-Summer Open House- Friday, July 20, 2012 8:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. or 12:30 - 4:45 p.m.
This event is designed for everyone, but is geared towards students just starting their college search.
-Columbus Day Open House- Monday, October 8, 2012 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
This event is designed for everyone. Registration will begin on August 1, 2012.
-Saturday Open House- October 27, 2012 12:00 - 5:00 p.m.
This event is designed for everyone. Registration will begin on August 1, 2012.
-Veterans' Day Open House- Monday, November 12, 2012 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
This event is designed for everyone. Registration will begin on August 1, 2012.
-Open House for High School Juniors- Monday, May 6, 2013 12:30 - 4:00 p.m.
This event is designed for high school juniors and sophomores who are just starting their college search. Registration will begin on February 1, 2013.
Academic Information Programs
These by-invitation programs for students who have been admitted to the School of Business or the School of Communication, Media & the Arts provide an excellent opportunity to tour the SUNY Oswego campus, meet with faculty in the student's area of interest, and learn about the many academic possibilities offered through these majors. Space is limited, so please be sure to register early!
-School of Communication, Media & the Arts including Cinema & Screen Studies- April 2013 from 12:30 - 4:30 p.m.
-School of Business- April 2013 from 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Check back in September 2012 for exact dates. Registration will begin on January 23, 2013.
Admitted Student Days
These events are designed for freshman and transfer applicants (of all majors) who have already applied to Oswego or have already been accepted and would like more information about the college. Please note: if you have already been accepted and paid your admissions deposit these events are not mandatory, and they are not Orientation programs where you will register for fall classes. Space is limited, so please be sure to register early!
