We are delighted that you are interested in visiting the University of Michigan and ask that you make the reservation for your visit using the convenient online system below. Space is limited and reservations are required. A Campus Visit consists of an Information Session geared toward prospective freshman applicants and a Central Campus Walking Tour.

In our ongoing effort to create an environment that is healthy for all members of our community, the University of Michigan became a smoke-free university on July 1, 2011. This will help ensure a healthier environment for faculty, staff, students and visitors. This extends the smoke-free environment of our University buildings to the campus grounds.

Please Note: State Street, a major thoroughfare into town, will be temporarily closed between April 30 and July 12 due to construction. For driving directions, please visit Directions, Maps and Parking.

Prospective transfer students should register for a visit for our special Transfer Information Sessions and Tours.

Prospective freshmen should register for a visit using the calendar below.

If you have problems registering for a session, or any questions about visiting, please call 734.647.5692.

Some academic units are close, others are a bit further away from our office. We recommend you book your School/College appointments for either the morning or the afternoon, and then use the remaining time for our session and tour. Maximize your day!
