Scheduling an Information Session and Campus Tour: Step 1

Your first step to scheduling an information session and tour of Vanderbilt's beautiful, park-like campus is to select the date you would like to visit from the calendar below. During the academic year, when classes are in session, information sessions and campus tours are offered Monday through Saturday at 10:00 AM. We frequently offer additional information sessions and campus tours at 1:00 PM and/or at 2:30 PM. Please refer to the calendar to determine availability. Registration is required.

  • In addition to gaining key insight from Vanderbilt admissions counselors on a variety of admissions, academic and financial aid topics, information sessions will provide you the opportunity to ask questions and benefit from those of others.

  • Campus tours are led by a Vanderbilt student tour guide who will lead you through a residence hall, show off a few undergraduate academic facilities, and talk with you about what it is like to be a student at Vanderbilt. Campus tours leave immediately after the information session and last approximately ninety minutes.

NOTE: If you are interested in taking advantage of only one of these options, we ask that you indicate this in online registration process.

Please also note that, with the exception of service animals, we do not allow pets inside the Office of Undergraduate Admissions' facilities.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I park?

Please note that parking at the Office of Undergraduate Admissions is limited. If you are unable to find a spot right outside our office in guest parking, you’ll park in the 2525 Garage. Our bookstore – Barnes & Noble at Vanderbilt – will provide up to four hours of free parking in the 2525 Garage for customers. Tickets must be validated at the checkout locations in the bookstore, not at the security desk in the 2525 West End building. Guests will be charged for parking unless they present a parking ticket that has been validated by Barnes & Noble.

For your convenience, we’ve developed a map of our office and 2525 Garage that can be used to plot directions from virtually anywhere. You may also view directions in list form on our website, which also contains helpful information on hotels, rental cars and exploring Nashville.

Do I need to bring anything specific for my visit?

Wear comfortable clothes, especially shoes for the campus tour since you will be on your feet for at least one hour. Nashville summers can get very hot and humid, so please dress
